My husband and I moved to Darwin 3 years ago, and we live a 5 minute drive from here. We stopped in one night for dinner, thinking it was just a quick and easy option, but now it's our favourite place to eat out. We had a great evening and the service was good. Some meals lack flavour like the Penne but the gnocchi was the dish of the evening. Prices are a little over the top and meals are on the smallish side. View all feedback.

Anyone who comes to visit, or anytime we have a celebration, this is where we go.
Recently celebrated our 30th Anniversary here, I haven't been able to find as good quality food and service since the La Chaumiere sadly closed its doors. The food was the best I have had in many years, with friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere.
We joined local friends here for dinner and were impressed with the menu, the service and the food. Modern Australian with a strong Italian influence.... we were hoping for the chef's own gnocchi. Most impressed that the chef himself came out to apologise that he would need to adjust the recipe to fit available ingredients - usually, one would hear this from a waiter. He also came back to hear the verdict as we ate. I'd go back again.... as the locals obviously do.
The entree we had was OK. The desserts were mixed (one fine and one excellent). The highlights were the steaks which were both fantastic. The menu has been updated (although not on the website) and they now serve a side salad and either beer battered chips or truffle mash with the steaks. Both were beautiful. The service was also really good.
Could not say enough great things about this place, by far the best dinners I've ever had, a great setting and very helpful staff, we visit as often as possible, be sure to try the pork belly and the duck!!
