At the Dairy Queen in Palestine of Loop 256 stopped. Order for Country Basket a Banana Split. Heavy conversation with masked employees. The sound was damped. A star taken from my review due to the general appearance of the restaurant, uncleaned tables, and a dirty door handle that ever used to enter. My ordered Banana Split would have been more attractive in the presentation. View all feedback.
I stopped by the Dairy Queen located on Loop 256 in Palestine and ordered a Country Basket along with a Banana Split. The employees were engaged in a loud conversation while wearing masks, which made the atmosphere feel somewhat off. I have to deduct a star from my review due to the overall state of the restaurant; the tables were unclean and the door handle had not been wiped down. Additionally, the presentation of my Banana Split could have been more appealing.
You can always count on a visit to your local DQ, and this location didn't disappoint. There was plenty of parking available, and my order was delivered quickly and accurately. The tables were all clean, and the bathrooms were in excellent condition.
I had to clean my own table to be able to sit and eat, as the restaurant was understaffed. I understood that the staff was busy trying to keep things clean, but they were clearly overwhelmed. It’s difficult to manage everything when there aren’t enough people to help.
I had good experiences every time I get here. Sometimes the line is slow, but it's what it is. They are also very generous on their blizzards.
Great ice cream, fast service, reasonable prices, clean, plenty of parking.
