The not very friendly girls behind the counter, who seem to be annoyed by every request : we read in a review below and I agree word for word, but I add that one is also rude. Nothing to say about the food, in fact I went there for months, ideal for those who are always in a hurry. During those months I always overlooked the lack of friendliness, which borders on surliness, not even paying attention to the rush they put in (often for no reason, they are attentive even if no one is there) but a couple of weeks ago an episode made me leave thinking but who has to set foot in here anymore . I won 't dwell on what happened but one of the two was rude and I preferred not to say anything because having understood the typology she would have gotten face to face saying but I didn 't say anything . In fact he didn 't say, he did, and if I had pointed it out to him he would have known what to say because you can see that they are studied . I sent two people there to whom I told what had happened and they replied that in fact they had already noticed the attitude and that for this reason they no longer went there. Very nice local spot, with great prices for being in the main shopping area. Would recommend, even though, if you don't speak Italian you may need to do a fair bit of pointing! What I asked for was nice and slightly greasy, service was good, and there were some spaces to sit, despite it being lunch time. Only caveat is, I was charged 0.50€ more than the Italian man who ordered the same.. slightly annoying, but was still pretty cheap. We went to this particular shop for breakfast because in Palermo if they want something salty for breakfast they have petchos which are fried pies with various ingredients based on prosciutto and mozzarella but they also had sausage and pizzas. I went there with my family and we loved it, certainly not a tourist place but very popular. Dishes (or rather pieces , but there are also real dishes) of Palermo cuisine with traditional flavors without the unpleasant sensation of being plucked .
