By chance we heard from the Musssec bar, and we went to eat there, it was a wonderful experience, it was the day that we had the best of all holidays, exquisite food, all very fresh and homemade, sea and mountain without equals and the desserts riquísimos, marcel the child who attended us, super attentive and friendly we recommend some wines that we love, quality/price well.

We ate roasted mussels and croquettas, the mussels were particularly good, they had a peculiar sauce with romarin and olive oil, that was succulent ! The croquettas were good, on the higher end for tapas. The wine was quite good and very affordable. Now’s the disappointing bit. We made a reservation for 9pm and arrived at 8:55. We felt like we were bothering the present staff which was composed of 2 person, seemingly not very experienced, as they sited us near the bathroom. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time excepted a very big table on the patio (10 people). We waited almost 30min for someone to bring us the drink menu and telling us they only had 10 menus in English that were all distributed outside. We waited another 10min to order the drink and the food. We had some misunderstanding with the manager because although he wanted us to order more on the premise that « we’d still be hungry », we were set. After that we were solicited by him and another server to order more (tapas and dessert) but as we declined, their faces just melted as to say that we were not worth the effort (as if any were already put). When we left, there was an error on the ticket, promptly rectified but it felt like the icing on the cake. It’s very loud and yet not very crowded, by design I assume because it would be worse otherwise. It has a certain charm to it but you have to be willing ignore the noise, more suited for a group of friends I think than a couple nights out.
