What Carmen Cooper doesn't like about Hippy Chippy:
Only use this place if you're really starving. Overpriced, and so stingy with their chip portions. The fish is average quality, but usually massive (the only reason I gave stars). Staff must have bunked off charm school too. Go anywhere along Ayrshire coast for times better chippies, well worth the longer trip. View all feedback. What Isobel Powell likes about Hippy Chippy:
A couple of years ago they reorganised the fryers so that food can be kept separate. They have a good range of vegan choices. The vegan fryer is not kept permanently hot (it is just a wee place) so if you phone in first to let them know that will help you get your order quickly. View all feedback.

read moreThe Hippy Chippy in Paisley offers a variety of vegan options, with a separate fryer available for those looking for a plant-based meal. The restaurant has improved its organization to keep different foods separate and has a range of vegan choices, including Linda McCartney sausages and Quorn chicken nuggets. However, the reviews for the non-vegan options are mixed, with complaints about the quality of the food, portion sizes, and customer service. Overall, if you're looking for a vegan chippy experience in Paisley, The Hippy Chippy is a good option, but it may not be the best choice for traditional fish and chips.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it.
