Falcon Inn Pub - Painswick
Falcon Inn Pub
Description
Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant has received mixed reviews that highlight both its strengths and shortcomings. While some patrons praised the luxurious ambiance and friendly service, particularly during special occasions like birthdays or family gatherings, others reported disappointing experiences with the food quality and service consistency. Concerns included underwhelming drinks pricing, poorly prepared dishes, and a lack of acknowledgment from the staff when problems arose. Despite this disparity, many guests enjoyed their meals and appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere, suggesting that the restaurant embodies potential yet may require improvements in food preparation and customer service.

I had a pleasant 2-course lunch at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the surroundings were nice. I would definitely go back again. Service: 4 Location: 5
The room was great and breakfast was included. It seemed like some of the staff were stressed or out of their usual roles, competent but not very welcoming. Unfortunately, my black pudding was badly burnt. The location is excellent, although you may be disturbed by the church clock if you're in a room facing the road. The view of the churchyard is beautiful. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic atmosphere.
I had the most incredible birthday lunch at a stylish restaurant with the most amazing food. Our server was charming and the dishes were delicious. We started with a perfect prawn and crayfish cocktail, followed by a steak pie with mashed potatoes and broccoli, paired with a tasting flight of British wines. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, with great options for vegetarians as well. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was even dog-friendly. The location at a 5-star hotel was luxurious and peaceful.
