Nestled in the vibrant town of Paia, this restaurant garners both praise and mixed reviews. Diners rave about the wood-fired pizzas and diverse toppings, though some found the salads underwhelming for their price. The vegan options have their proponents, particularly praised for their rich flavor sans cheese. While long wait times are common, many agree the food—especially the lilikoi cheesecake—makes it worth it. The service is generally friendly, and the casual atmosphere, complemented by an open kitchen, creates an inviting dining experience. For pizza lovers visiting Maui, this spot remains a noteworthy destination amidst the island’s culinary landscape.

Wonderful pizza spot. Everything is made there, quality ingredients. Server was a blonde gal, she was really nice and did a great job. Its just a cool spot, wood fire pizza oven in the middle of the place, almost like a mountain cabin. Prices were great as well. What Benjamin Stehr dislikes about Flatbread Company:
I was able to get a table for two directly in the midday period, got the salat with goat cheese and of course the mopsy large pizza that is a must-time in hawaii. if they are a true fan of lilikoi, they must have the lilikoi cheesecake it is not a question and they do not want to share it with someone. I'll be back before I go. View all feedback.
Lunch at this restaurant will cost you between $20 and $30 per person. The food and service both receive a perfect rating of 5, while the atmosphere is given a 4 out of 5.
Pretty good pizza for a lunch stop on the way back from the Road to Hana. We got a pizza to take back to our condo. The pizza was very good and the ingredients were fresh. Service was quick and friendly as well. Pizza was a little pricey. Parking: There is some free parking down the street but a lot of stationary cars and people hanging around the area. Some street parking available and some paid spots in other areas down the street. Paid parking lots seemed safer.
This place was so fun. We didn't have food, we stopped in for a drink before our reservations at another place. It smells amazing, and we so wanted to stay. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend it.
I don't eat a lot of pizza, but this was a very tasty pizza. It was a lot of fun watching the pizza being made and how quickly this was done. Attentive staff as well. I can't think of adding anything else to what they already do! Great experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
So Good! So many options, including allergy friendly options! I'm so sorry I can't remember our waitresses' name, but she was fantastic! She was so thorough and wrote detailed notes to make sure our allergy restrictions were noticed and accommodated! We showed up with as a massive crowd with allergies to dairy, eggs, mushrooms, olive oil, and gluten and everyone could eat!! Would 100% recommend and go again if we ever make it back to the island!!
