What User doesn't like about Tartaruga's Hotel and Pagudpud Yacht Club Restaurant:
Our tour guide brought us in this restaurant for dinner while we were in Pagudpud. We arrived there at least 20 minutes before closing time. We can feel that the staff are annoyed to us, maybe because they are already looking forward to go home. While we were asking for the menu, the staff keep on insisting that we order pinakbet because that is their house specialty. Hoping that it really taste good, we ordered it.... View all feedback.
Our tour guide brought us in this restaurant for dinner while we were in Pagudpud. We arrived there at least 20 minutes before closing time. We can feel that the staff are annoyed to us, maybe because they are already looking forward to go home. While we were asking for the menu, the staff keep on insisting that we order pinakbet because that is their house specialty. Hoping that it really taste good, we ordered it. But the pinakbet tasted like salt, as in, it is very very salty you cannot eat it anymore. When we call the attention of the attendant, he said that we are the only one to comment on their pinakbet. Instead of taking our comments as constructive critism, they continued to be annoyed to us.

I just have some concern with regards to the response of the "owner" of this restaurant. Since you are the owner, why would you have to call your customers "idiots"? It's really not appropriate knowing that you are the owner. People know that you are only defending your restaurant, but customers also do have the right to write their opinions/reviews about what they experienced at your restaurant and it's very disrespectful for you to use the word "idiot". Since you are saying that you are the owner of this "beautiful yacht club restaurant" I assumed that you have a degree and came from a well bred family, but with the way you respond to your customer, I was so appalled. I've been there as well, just last week, and I agree to the review written by qml2l (Food Disaster). There are flies everywhere, you are only using fans to keep your customers cool. Your staffs (wearing pink shirts) offered us a candle to keep the flies off our foods. I will never come back to this restaurant again, not because of the food, but because of the manner that this "owner" have shown to his/her customer.
We were looking for a good place to eat and we found this in front of saud beach. Basivally they served us food. But it was a disaster. The squid and sisig that they served tasted fresh, fresh fro the can. Pinakbet vegetables were harvested like months ago. And this really surprised. They served us fresh rice. Fresh from the refrigerator and made hot from the microwave. Tasty... right?They are selfish. They wont let you use wifi unless you check in into their expensive rooms. I never experienced any restau who does not share their wifi. The price you pay for the food is not worth it.
We stayed in Pagudpud for a week and went to eat at a few restaurants but we always returned to Tartaruga because they really know how to treat their customers. Your always feel welcome and the food is always served with a thousand of smiles. We really recomend this restaurant and the personal that works there! Thank you for everything.
