We ate at this restaurant on a Saturday and had to wait for an hour for our lunch. It was nice when it arrived and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant with a view of the bay. Staff were attentive and pleasant. It wasn't the best food we have eaten in the area but acceptable. View all feedback.

Thought we were already out of the Philippines.lol A bit far but its all worth it. Ordered seafood platter, and waited for like 45mins. The food was ok. Their longganisa tastes good. I suggest the management should do something to lessen the flies that swarms the food. We loved the idea of personal messages written on paperbills of diff. currencies posted around the restaurant. We travelled 15km from the place we were staying in at 7 in the evening just to try their food. There were no more customers except us by the time we got there but the service staff immediately assisted us to our table and gave us their menu. They were very friendly and enthusiastic about the place so we were excited to be there. We tried their bagnet which had 2 kinds of sauces you can choose from and a side relish. It was okay, just a bit hard to chew so avoid this one if you have dentures. And we were surprised to see that it was less than a half of the serving size of the bagnet in Hidden Garden's Lilong and Lilang, for the same price. The Katuday tasted extremely salty and sour at the same time. Though the flower used to make the dish is supposed to be naturally sweet. The seafood platter was good. I appreciated the squid and the lobster. The crab though had little meat. The shrimp was not the freshest we've tasted. The meat was clinging to the shrimp's skin as I was peeling it off.The most delicious dish we ordered was their Poqui-Poqui! It's a must try.Their buko also had a lot of juice in it like the ones in Ilocos Sur. The waiter even offered help in opening it for us so we can eat the buko meat afterwards.Overall, it's worth it. I think if we came in earlier we were given more fresh seafood.
read moreI frequently dine in Casa Consuelo whenever i visited Pagudpud. I place is serene for a relaxing meal. I am happy with the addition of the swimming pool which added bliss to the place. They served typical Ilocano and Filipino dishes. I highly recommend their sizzling dishes for P200. Good for 2-3pax And if budget permits, try their lobster and seafood platter for P1,000-P1,5000. However, be patient because food usually takes 15-30minutes to serve so make sure, you are not in the hurry.Casa Consuelo is a family run business. I am pleased with the personal services the mother and the 2 sons give to their guest. Kudos

read moreI have to say that La Cocina de Consuelo is one of my favorite places to eat in Pagudpud, since they serve delicious foods, and also unique Ilocano foods, one of the must tries is the Dinengdeng (mixed vegetables cooked in fish sauce broth with fried fish), Pinakbet with Bagnet, Poqui-Poqui (grilled eggplant sauteed with garlic, onion, tomatoes, and scrambled eggs).
read moreLoved the poqui poqui, bagnet and longganisa! Do not miss these three when you go as it is Ilocos Region's specialty. Service is always polite and prompt; we never had to wait for anything during our stay. If you're getting set breakfasts you can opt for brewed coffee for an additional Php 10 -- don't expect much. Would rate them excellent if they had any liquor/cocktails, but you can easily traipse to the nearby Kapuluan Vista Resort for that.
