What a wonderful experience to have the guided tour that clearly explains the hardwork and investment behind the kiwifruit farming. Really enjoyed it and learned a lot from it. Waiting for the new variety of red kiwifruit to arrive in the market. View all feedback.

A great place to visit if you want to learn about Kiwi farming!! We went on a one hour tour on the “kiwi cart” to see the farm and the different varieties of kiwi vines (green, gold and red and learned a lot about their origins, how they are grown, and how they are picked and then sold mostly abroad. (Billions of worth of Kiwis each year! Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed a little longer in their store for some samples, and to look at all of the products that they sell there that are manufactured from kiwi fruit. We bought kiwi smoothies and some delicious kiwi relish. A place you should not miss if you are visiting the Bay of Plenty!!!The Green and Gold kiwis are available for purchase here almost year round (as well as all of the kiwi prepared foods , but the famous Red Kiwis are usually available only seasonally (usually around March/April and are limited in supply, but they are delicious! Try them if you can, and buy the Red Kiwis in season!
It was amazing I learnt alot about kiwis and the guide was cool, Will definitely recommend.
Worth seeing. We had great fun and learn a lot about the kiwi trade during the tour. Love it.
We had a really lovely experience there. We were unsure when we arrived as there were no customers. We even wondered if we came to the right place... but we were so glad that we stayed and carried on our visit. We had an incredible tour with Simon who went above and beyond. He had professional knowledge and years of experience to share which I wish I’d have learnt sooner. Amanda was such a lovely lady. She surely knew what she was doing when it came to her delicious dried kiwifruit, relish, and other yummy products. They were totally unforgettable... Not to mention the friendly and welcoming fur baby Tilly who would jump on the train and join the tour with you! I can’t speak highly enough of this place!!
