The menu is quite intriguing, with most items, including the salad dressings, made in-house. I tried the duo salad, which featured very fresh greens topped with both chicken salad and egg salad. The egg salad had a nice kick of horseradish, and I think I detected some candied pecans in the chicken salad. The restaurant operates out of a school and is only open during lunch hours. They have an outdoor seating area, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. I definitely recommend checking it out!

After reading the reviews of K... read more While visiting the area on a Monday, when many restaurants were closed, we wanted a healthier lunch option than typical bar food. After reading the reviews of Kitchens Cafe, we decided to give it a try. What a fantastic lunch it was! I enjoyed the pork BBQ sliders, and my husband had a turkey wrap served with an incredibly tasty pasta salad—I've been trying to recreate that recipe ever since! Besides sandwiches, there were a few hot dishes on the menu board as well. I only wish we lived closer so we could dine here more often!

After reading the reviews for Kitchen Cafe, we decided to give it a shot. What an excellent choice it turned out to be! I ordered the pork BBQ sliders, and my husband chose a turkey wrap that came with an incredibly tasty pasta salad. I've been trying to find a similar recipe ever since! Besides their sandwiches, they also have a few hot dishes listed on the menu board. If only we lived closer, we would definitely become regulars at this place!

The wait times are incredibly lengthy, and it appears that the staff prioritizes non-students, who are abundant. I wouldn’t suggest this place if you’re a student in search of a speedy meal between classes. If you don’t order something from the counter, be prepared to wait an eternity for your food. On a positive note, the food is exceptional; it’s just not the most student-friendly venue considering its popularity among local customers. However, I did enjoy one of the best meals I've had in a long time.
