Today I was able to enjoy the ASLAN pizza, specially created in the Greifenstone version, from Ansgar Eck and what can I say: it exceeds all expectations! This pizza is not only a feast for the eyes, but also tastes heavenly. The crispy, black corners, the crispy DOUBLE DOUGH, exactly according to my special request, give it an incomparable touch. At Thomas and Miriam, every dish is a delight for the senses. It's obvious that only fresh, partly homemade ingredients are used here it's no wonder that every bite is a feast for the taste buds. The warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere both inside and in the idyllic beer garden make a visit to the Ansgar Eck a completely successful experience. The prices are in excellent relation to the quality offered. I can't wait to go on my next culinary trip there be it alone or with my family! Since the mid-90s I've also known the Aslan pizza, closed with gyros in it...amazing. Unfortunately, I moved away from Paderborn and my people at Berliner Ring unfortunately closed the shop at some point. But I found out that Miriam and Thomas still have my coveted Aslan pizza in Ansgar Eck. And so it finally came about... since 2006 I've finally been able to enjoy this delicacy again... so delicious. My wife was also completely thrilled. We are rarely in Paderborn but we will be back. Aside from that, it was so nice to chat about old times...like before. You always feel welcome. Thanks to Stefan for the tip...my friend. We look forward to our next visit.
