I do not understand the reviews postedto date... the food in this restaurant resembles supermarket sauces from a bottle! Our dishes contained little substance I.E. the Red Duck Curry was lucky if it has two miniscule peices of duck in a sauce that was not authentic at all. The Green Chicken Curry was not much better either, insipid sauce and to finish off the Thai fried rice dish was gluggy again with little content,... View all feedback.

For starters my friend and I shared a plate of spring rolls and they were amazing! So crunchy and tasted very fresh. Then we ordered the chicken pad thai and the pork fried rice. Fried rice I can't fault. Best fried rice I've ever had. The Pad Thai on the other hand was a bit oily and it came with so much capsicum and bean sprouts. Way too many in comparison to the noodles itself. And Pad Thai shouldn't have capsicum...Other than that and the price being a bit expensive it was an amazing place to eat. There was a lot of foot traffic as well - a lot of pick ups.
This restaurant is just the best when you want to taste authentic Thai food that you couldn't cook better yourself ! We live in the Northern Suburbs of Perth where this restaurant is and there are many Thai restaurants around us. Unfortunately every time we go and eat at one we leave disappointed as quite frankly I could have cooked the meal tastier myself and you usually end up paying a lot of money for it as Thai food is not cheap. This is why I am on Trip adviser to tell you about this restaurant. It is not flash..dated furniture with the old plastic table protectors over the table clothes .. its not big..may only hold up to about 30 people ?? It has no view .. in a small very quiet part of the suburb of Padbury BUT by god (excuse me if offends) the food is to die for !! It looks like is it run by a family of Thai people who all help and work there and the main cook looks like the Grandma. They have decorated their restaurant as if you just walked of the street in Thailand.. lots of pictures of the Prince of Thailand and his family.. and yes I have been to Thailand a couple of times. If you want Thai food that actually tastes like Thai food and not Thai food that has been made for Westerners to eat .. i.e. no flavour.. then you must visit this place.. you will not be disappointed. Oh.. its not cheap but it is cheaper than other Thai restaurants around it. Enjoy !!
The old cliche "best-kept secret" just about sums this restaurant up. Hidden away in one of suburbia's smaller shopping centres, My Thai is run by a charming couple who know the meaning of true Thai hospitality. The menu is relatively small and simple, but the dishes are exemplary - especially the seafood options. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy some really flavoursome Asian food, this is the place.
