Found this restaurant while going through my new entertainment book and decided to give it a go. Was quite impressed with the food we had Chilli Mussels, 2 pizzas, barramundi, salad and garlic bread. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Restaurant is family run, will go back for sure! View all feedback.

La Bella is a pleasant little suburban Italian eating house in Padbury. Minimalist décor greets you, but the staff are uniformly warm and welcoming, enthusiastic and happy to assist with menu suggestions. The menu is largely what you would expect with a range of pasta dishes, pizzas as well as meat and seafood offerings. A complementary serve of meatballs moist and spicy was a nice touch to begin. One entrée the Italian sausage tasting plate caught the eye. This comprised cacciatore sausage sautéed with roasted capsicum and olives, accompanied by marinated bocconcini balls, oil and crusty bread. The mildly spiced dried sausage soaked up the oil, with the olives adding a salty edge to complement the sweet earthiness of the pepper along with the spongy, marinated cheese. With the bread to mop up, this was a hearty starter. The two mains were highlights firstly pollo parmigiana moist, tender crumbed chicken breast wrapped in salty, crisp prosciutto, with a house made rich, Napoletana sauce, full of fresh tomato and garlic flavours. With a fresh garden salad this proved a very well put together dish. Capretto, cooked with a marinade of white wine, herbs and chilli, was extremely tender, falling apart on the fork the marinade mildly spicy, full of Italian aromatics, and came with a creamy and buttery potato mash maybe a few greens would have given it a little boost but it was very enjoyable, nonetheless. The only dessert tried on the night didn't let the place down very rich and thick dark chocolate mousse was a great end to a very good night out, and meal. If you are after a good quality Italian feed in the northern suburbs, then La Bella should be on your list.
