This fantastic dive bar has an amazing atmosphere and an unexpectedly excellent selection of draft beers (they're really good!). There's plenty of live music, and the bartenders are super friendly. If you enjoy a laid-back vibe, this is a must-visit spot. It's one of my top picks in the Bay Area. While they don't serve food, there are several restaurants nearby where you can grab a bite to bring in.
We had an amazing time at the Saturday afternoon concert with friends, both in the band and in the audience!
To fully appreciate the Winter's Tavern, you need to approach it with the right mindset. The tavern is straightforward and doesn’t try to be something it isn't.
I was here a couple of times back in 1995 during a visit from England to my friends in San Bruno. Great bar, friendly people, and good popcorn and beer. Wish I could visit again. Maybe!
This place has live bands and a pool table that is leveled !!! Love it!!!!
