Shampa's Pies - Pacifica
Shampa's Pies
Description
Shampa's Pies crafts small, artisanal hand pies and sampler boxes famed for flaky crusts and vibrant fillings—lemon chess, blueberry cream cheese, sweet potato, pumpkin, chocolate, walnut and more. A family-run legacy born of pastry chef Haruwn Wesley lives on at festivals and Bay Area pop-ups, earning praise for warmth, nostalgia and standout holiday pies. Criticisms note small size, steep prices and occasional unexpected closures or unresponsive phone lines, but dessert lovers often deem the flavors worth seeking out.

On a spur-of-the-moment decision, my wife and I happened to stroll by and noticed their sign. We both couldn’t resist trying a pie, and we added two cookies as a bonus. It was amazing—the treats were absolutely delicious! We will certainly be back for more. Their hospitality was fantastic too!
Not fans. Pie crust was gooey. And my chocolate chip cookie had no chocolate. Bummer.
The chocolate chip cookies are the best I've ever had! The pies are excellent as well—make sure to try them all and find your favorite!
