Mad local! Peach pie had a buttery, flaky crust filled with perfectly cooked peaches; not soggy or soft. The filling was slightly bland- it might have needed more spices, lemon juice, or sugar. But I had it cold, so it's hard to say.I also had a brown butter cookie, which had a crisp, browned exterior with a gooey, chewy interior. I can only imagine how delicious these pies must be, but unfortunately, I've never had the chance to try one. Today marked my third trip, driving 35 minutes to the shop. According to their website, they open at 10 AM, so I arrived at 10:15 to avoid any chance of them running out of products. On my previous visits, I had gone later in the morning during the week.
