Was Michael S at Pedro Point Brewing a mag?
It is very difficult to find beer that doesn't taste like lake water or something even worse. I'm glad I found this German level of quality beer. Definitely the best sour and dark beer around. View all feedback.
What Devon W dislikes about Pedro Point Brewing:
I was quite surprised by the overall 5-star rating for this place. The beer was objectively not good, and the atmosphere felt lacking. There was no music, just a baseball game playing on the screen. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm also pretty sure the photos don't accurately represent the establishment. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. View all feedback.

This charming little spot offers great beer. I stopped by to give it a try, and I found the place to be very clean. The brewer was friendly and welcoming.
This brewery, somewhat hidden away near the ocean, has a rather unremarkable appearance. Inside, you'll find mostly tables and a bar, with the brewing equipment located at the back. While I appreciated the low-key vibe, that was about the only thing I enjoyed. After discovering one Pacifica brewery (Seahorse) had closed and another (Humble Sea) only offered light beers and sours, I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The IPA had a peculiar flavor, almost as if the brewing lines needed cleaning. The imperial stout was similarly unusual, with a burnt coffee taste, but it was slightly more palatable than the IPA. Lastly, I tried the pale ale, which claimed to have orange citrus flavoring, but it was quite disappointing. It shared the same strange taste as the IPA, and I didn’t detect any hint of orange at all—just that unpleasant flavor. I cannot recommend this brewery.

Tucked by the ocean, this low-key neighborhood brewery pairs friendly, knowledgeable staff and a dog-welcoming vibe with standout sours and dark beers. Visible brewhouse, flights and board games add charm, but several core taps (IPAs, pales) have been reported flat or with off flavors, and parking is tight. No full kitchen is available—food appears only from an occasional outside vendor—yet sunsets, casual company and a relaxed atmosphere keep locals and visitors coming back.

Refreshing purple drank (acai kettle sour). I also liked the mango limeade sour. Chill vibe. Dog friendly (unfortunately). Squawk responsibly.
Had such a pleasant time here! I really like the vibes of this place and the locals that show up. Bartenders are super cool people. Amazing delicious beers. A very nice and excellent spread. You'll discover something that you will Love about their beers. They sometimes have a pop up with food too. Will definitely come back. Hope to see you there.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and we really enjoyed the Gear Oil Imperial Stout.
I’m sorry to say that I didn’t enjoy our beers here at all. I had a similar experience during my last visit, but I wanted to give this local place another chance. Unfortunately, the beer was just as disappointing this time. It was really flat with almost no carbonation (especially for a hazy IPA), and it had a strong taste reminiscent of dirty lines or tap heads. I seldom leave a beer unfinished, but I gave up on this one after spending about $8—I simply couldn’t drink it. It’s disappointing to have the same experience twice, and others in our group who ordered four beers had similar opinions. On a brighter note, the sours were fantastic! They were so much better than the regular beers. If I return, I’ll definitely be getting one of the sours.

Traveled from east coast just for couple days, and wanted to have relaxing beer and watch sunset over the ocean. This place delivered. Beer was great and everyone friendly in town. Should definitely be on list if in the area!
While they don’t serve food inside, there’s a Shmash'd Burger stand outside on select days, and that burger is absolutely delicious! A major highlight for us was the dog-friendly atmosphere at Pedro's; you'll see tons of dogs during your visit. Dog lovers are the best, so be prepared for plenty of conversations about both dogs and beer!
This fantastic local brewery is located by the beach! Make sure to try the flight! I particularly enjoyed the POG and Tropical Ale. It's the perfect place to relax with friends, and they even have board games!
