I just... read more As for the potato salad, it had more of a mashed potato consistency than I expected. I was hoping for a traditional chunky style with a bit more acidity. I just craved something to add a bit of brightness, like a mustard-based Carolina BBQ sauce. Overall, Gorilla BBQ definitely lives up to the hype, and I was genuinely surprised! Update 7/24: Last weekend, we managed to get a half BBQ chicken before it sold out, and it was the best BBQ chicken I’ve ever had! So tender, well-seasoned without being too salty, and incredibly juicy—just perfect. I normally don’t like to eat with my hands, but I couldn’t resist devouring this chicken without any utensils at home. It's that good! Next time, we're definitely ordering a whole chicken. I still wish they’d offer some sort of pickled side, like 3-bean salad, bread and butter chips, or dill spears. That would really elevate the experience!
