10/10 always such quick service and the food is so good. Such a wide selection of options it's almost hard to to choose from. Everything is amazing and service is great.

What Mr G dislikes about Fog City Java:
We make an effort to support independent coffee shops instead of Starbucks, so I sought out this one. The coffee was decent, but my wife's latte was lacking. It was made surprisingly quickly, considering how busy it was, which might explain the quality. A little more enthusiasm from the staff at the counter would certainly be welcome. View all feedback.

I visited Fog City Java four mornings while visiting our son who lives in Pacifica and recommended this locally owned and managed coffee shop. Every visit was greeted with a smile and attentiveness. Walk in past the outdoor cafe tables, greet the friendly locals, listen to the chatter about surf conditions from senior surfers. Place your order with a bagel, sandwich , or croissant. Fill your cup with several different types of freshly brewed Java or order an expresso. Now here is the important next step! Walk out of the cafe and make a left turn to the ocean. Cross Highway 1 to the sidewalk and make a right. Walk up to either second or third bench. Sit down and enjoy the spectacular view of the beach, surfers, whales, or waves breaking against the rocks below. Your morning coffee from Fog City Java will be a perfect way to begin your day. Enjoy the moment . . .

Fog City Java is a half block off Highway 1 in Pacifica's Linda Mar neighborhood. Expresso Bar or Chai Tea plus locally fresh baked bagels and other pastries are available. Sit inside and view local photographer pieces on display or purchase one handwoven towel. Watch the owner greet each customer by name or just listen to the wonderful chatter. Go outside and sit in the shade at a cafe table. My suggestion is order a breakfast sandwich and latte to go. Walk outside make a left 1/2 block to Pacific Ocean. Cross route 1 at the light. Make a right and count three benches up the walkway. Sit down and enjoy a spectacular view of surfers, surf casters, dog walkers, families, all enjoying the beach and waves.

I 've been coming here since I was a kid. I used to come for the bagels and black and white hot chocolate. It 's not an incredible space, but it 's very authentic and you could easily sit in the outdoor chairs and people watch for hours.

Fog City Java is a beloved, no-frills, locally owned coffee shop a block from the beach that pairs smooth roasts and fresh-baked bagels, pastries and donuts with friendly, speedy service. Limited indoor seating opens to sunny outdoor tables perfect for people-watching and ocean views; walls display local art and staff greet regulars by name. It’s a classic, community-focused Pacifica morning stop for locals and visitors alike.

The most welcoming and friendliest coffee shop! They serve delicious food and excellent coffee. It's also a nice spot to chat with a friendly group of people outside in the mornings.

The staff here is incredibly patient and friendly. I was placing an order for myself, my husband, and our seven kids, which included coffees, bagels, pastries, cocoa, and a few last-minute changes. They handled everything without a hint of frustration and just went with the flow. Plus, the coffee was delicious!

This coffee shop is literally a block away from Linda Mar State Beach. It's a great place for early morning walkers surfers and perfect for a quick bite or a cup of joe before you head out of town or heading down the coast. Many locals hang out in the front little patio area to socialize. You'll find bagels served with just cream cheese to the whole works, baked goods, hot cold beverages and can't forget some gift items made by locals. Only draw back, they close early afternoon, so it's gotta be your morning go to place.

Really patient and friendly staff. I ordered myself, my husband and seven children. Coffee, bagels, pastries, cocoa and then some changed thoughts! They weren't angry, just rolled with him. And the coffee was great!
