This is the real deal. If you're looking for a tasty and authentic Korean fried chicken experience look no further. There's also good light beers on tap to wash down the spicy wings, or imported bottles from Korea. There's always something off-menu or special being made as well. Ask the staff for what is new! What User doesn't like about Ttobongee Chicken:
I had great hopes on this place. that was a little ok and overpriced. I ordered a bibimbap and there was so much rice, with a small sauce and a little sweet and he gave me the wrong order. I couldn't turn back because I was driving home. all in all, not waste their money, they can get a good meal somewhere for this price. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The Korean Fried chicken was especially delicious. My son was stationed in the area for two years and would visit this place every weekend.
The chicken and fried rice at this restaurant were amazing! You won't be disappointed, and the staff is very helpful and kind. I will definitely be going back again!
I am new to the area and decided to order some wings for delivery. The food was amazing, the delivery arrived quickly and the wings were still hot. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again soon.
I think is the first restaurant where I’ve stopped after two bites. I couldn’t finish it. I was so excited to eat tteokbokki, but it was very disappointing. The tteok (rice cakes) and fish cakes were soggy and falling apart, and the soupy sauce tasted like spicy Kraft Mac n Cheese…and not in a good way. I felt sick after my few bites. I’m definitely no picky eater, and I’m a cheap (and broke) young person who will eat pretty much anything, yet I couldn’t stomach this. Sad to say, I lost $20+.The service was ok, although the person at the front was very loudly watching videos on their phone.I don’t think I’ve ever written a one star review, and it’s sad that it goes to a Korean restaurant. Maybe their chicken is good, but I was very disappointed.
Best Korean Fried Chicken I have had by far.......Me and my Daughter go to spot.....never disappoints....our favorite is the Galbi chicken...super yummy..... If your in the Monterey Bay area it's a must to go to!!!
