We come here every year when in town for Rod Run and we eat here all 3 days we are here. The food is upscale but not upscale priced, the owner is a very sweet hard working man that cares about his business and customers, the atmosphere is cute and comfortable, the cocktails are delicious. What Sherri Sperling doesn't like about 42nd Street Cafe And Bistro Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
I had the beef stroganoff which was excellent. But for $28 I would have expected a vegetable or a salad with it. They did serve some very thin sliced french bread and relish when we first sat down. Service was blase. View all feedback.

A weekend breakfast here is definitely a good idea. Power up before or after a beach trek, and you'll be fine. This visit we enjoyed a spicy Bloody Maria cocktail, some good coffee, and hearty country fried steak plus the pot roast hash. We enjoyed every bite. Their house made berry-citrus walnut compote is very tasty on toast. The service we received was interesting. One man was a little gruff, but we decided it was just his natural, no-nonsense demeanor. The others with whom we interacted were smiling and pleasant, also their apparently natural demeanor. Love that the restrooms are universal, and they are right at the front door. In fact, the restroom doors are painted a strikingly blue color, so no missing them! Prices are about on par with this vacation town, no complaints. Wheelchair accessible. Plenty of parking in their lot.

Excellent dinner and everything was made from scratch. Dessert is made in house as well and everything was delicious. I highly recommend!
Great brunch place. The pit roast hash was awesome.
