Food is very nice albeit a little unusual. The manager was very helpful ensuring we had what we wanted. Unfortunately although they have a kids menu they don’t have high chairs. We were originally told it was due to covid but then heard they were on order but hadn’t arrived. Restaurant is set in a beautiful spot at the spice route (must visit), but this restaurant is a bit of a let down. The food was okay. My steak had a lot of almost uncooked fat on it which was inedible, and the sides we ordered weren’t anything to rave about. I am gonna be straight to the point Jewell’s are for me and my partner the best restaurant in Cape Town and surrounding area so if you have not visited Mr&Ms Jewell’s restaurant, I suggest you make a plan. The quality of the dishes, attention to detail and sophisticated yet simple combinations that you can choose from together with a relaxed setting, is to die for. We will be back again and again and thank you for all the great dining experiences.
Valentines dinner lovely start with a raspberry MCC aperitif, then 4 courses of shared plates from trout to fillet to duck to risotto to granadilla cheese cake. A combination of flavours, surprising and interesting and always exciting. Interesting wine list the Spice Route Saffron Rose like marshmallow Well done to the Jewell team we will be back. Food: 5

Excellent restaurant that produces interesting and original dishes. The kiddies menu is creative and offers the children a great experience. The chef even changed the menu to cater for our lactose intolerant grandson. I loved the roasted vegetables and panisse! Really beautiful food! Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian dishes! Loved the roasted veggies! Dietary restrictions: Happy to accommodate for lactose intolerant Kid-friendliness: Lots of families but a high chair would help
