What Reg Arthur doesn't like about Glen Carlou:
The wine was excellent, but I didn't feel particularly welcome during my visit. They closed everything down at around 3:50 PM and even informed the three of us that we all had to sample the same bottles, which was quite surprising. My husband and I enjoyed a 3 course lunch, and what an amazing experience it was. Service was great, food was divine, and probably one of the most informative wine tasting experiences we've had. Thanks to Muriel and Roxanne. We'll definitely be back!
Food was excellent and the view there is really beautiful we really enjoyed having lunch at Glen Carlou. How can I forget to mention Lizette’s amazing service and Roxanne, they were so amazing tanks for the amazing experience
The wine tasting experience was the best we had during this trip. Informative. I also enjoyed the wines. Superb Chardonnay, Cab Sav and Syrah.
This is the second time we visited Glen Carlou for a tasting and again we are very happy with the service. Dylan was a fantastic sommelier and really made the day special for us. I would recommend this wine farm. Great service and wine.
The wine tasting was unforgettable. With breathtaking mountain views, warm and knowledgeable staff, and a curated selection of exquisite wines, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Each pour highlighted Glen Carlou’s mastery in winemaking, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking South African wines in an inspiring setting. Will be sure to pop in again soon.
