What Rocco Evola doesn't like about Rhebokskloof Estate:
The wine selection was disappointing as all five wines were too young and too acidic, lacking in character. The chocolate was overly rich in cocoa butter and artificial flavors. None of the wines stood out enough to make us want to purchase a bottle. The venue and landscape were very nice, though. View all feedback.
I Cannot reccomend this place enough. The view is stunning with well kept lawns overlooking the dam.The staff were the most incredible part of the experience. They were so welcoming and friendly, especially Yolanda that did tasting for us. She is a real asset to the farm. Thank you for making the day so incredibly special with your hospitality. There is also a lovely play park for kids. I will be back soon to experience having a picnic. The only negative was the menu advertised Grape Juice, but were told they do not do it anymore since last year
The staff were friendly and efficient. The food and wine was great. The grass and grounds beautiful. The menus was old and dirty and so was the Stoep where we sat, full of leaves and sand.
Our wine tasting went absolutely amazing. My family and I were celebrating a 21st, Sjediel was our wine tasting specialist and she was absolutely extraordinary! We felt so comfortable and welcome. She had excellent product knowledge and was super welcoming and friendly, and very question we asked she could answer and we would 100% go back!! Visited on: Weekday Wait time No wait
