What User doesn't like about El Viejo Yayo:
This restaurant was originally Puerto Rican but sold many times to Dominican decent so the food has culturally changed. The staff don't mix up the music to serve the community so that becomes annoying to the customers. The waitress will bring you the bill with automatically adding a 16% tip and when you pay with your card they give you a receipt to sign and to add another tip. We had mangu with eggs and cheese and onions. Very delicious and filling. I had morir soñando with less ice as I like. My friend had Chinola. You leave friendly My friend is trying the goat. When I tell you this was the best food I had in a time. I ordered catering last weekend and the food was so delicious that I had to go back last night. The potatoes were so creamy. The fried Calamari was so delicious. Chicken Cordon bleu delicious. Your Mofongo was the best I ever had. It was made with sweet curtain, green curtain and Yuca. I saved the best. The Churrasco OMG... the best. There are no words or images that do their food justice. You have to try yourself. The service was exceptional, timely and attentive. The best part was that I could eat with my daughter and nephew on late Saturday. The place is family-oriented.
Hit or miss. We ordered New Years eve and everything was fresh and amazing. We ordered this weekend and we felt like the food was there for a while.
Awesome Food, Great Service, will definitely return. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, the chicken was amazing.
