I had the chicken dumplings and the food that kept coming out along side our meals was so filling that I couldn't get dessert. Iabsolutely had a blast here and I definitely would come back if I'm ever in the area again. I just wish we had stuff like thisup north!

The staff keeps going around and top off your plate with fried okra and what not. Beware the portion sizes are huge, I could only manage to eat my sides. Loved the greenbeans and fried gizzards.

In addition to the food you order off of the menu they have waiters who roam around offering you free extras like potatoes and onions fried together, beans, macaroni and tomatoes, dinner rolls,molasses (and I may be forgetting a few extras). The thing this diner is famous for is that anytime you ask for another freedinner roll they throw it to you. It's decorated with all of the state flags, Old Glory, and the flags of all of the branches ofthe US Armed Forces. It's not just a meal, it's an experience. I had the wonderful catfish dinner. They gave me a generousportion, so I didn't need any more, but if you eat it all and want more catfish they will bring you more for free. Get thecandied yams, they're to die for!

The food was great,... read more First time there, the experience was great. Liked they way the guy throwing the dinner rolls didn't miss a customer. He needs NFL ???? ????. The food was great, my grilled pork chops were mouth watering good, every bite just melted in my mouth. It wasgreat to get extra sides when the waiters walked around, there were plenty to choose from. It was a day trip with friends and wewill be back to try the rest of the menu and dessert.

Don't expect some once in a lifetime side of corn, it's just corn. The entrees were all fantastic,the catfish, the jowl-lettuce-tomato was amazing, perfectly cooked with great toast, and the chefs salad, well... epic doesn'tbegin to describe the sheer volume. Flavor and ingredients were pretty good too. Sun roasted tomatoes and artichoke hearts arenice finds in a salad. The staff was all amazingly friendly and nice. Great roll throwing aim, too!
