The food was tasty and presentation was pretty but portions tiny. The ambiance was nice.Nice date spot but not really for family gatherings. But, try it for any occasion. I am all for supporting the local spots. My family of five enjoyed the taste--albeit we were all hungry by the time we got home. View all feedback.
What মাহজাবিন শিকদার doesn't like about Osteria Leana:
I have eaten here in the past and been pleased. On this visit I gave the food a very good rating, however, 2 of us were very pleased with our selections and 2 were disappointed. The Mushroom Salad was Outstanding! I would go back to just have that. The Duck and the Skirt Steak were also really very good. The pasta with Clams was a big disappointment. The texture of the pasta was not appealing although it was al dente... View all feedback.
Food was great! Service was awful. I understand they are understaffed due to covid but we waited 15 mins for our 1st round of drinks and then did not get our 2nd round until our entrees came. The busboy also cleared our plates while we were still eating our appetizers. Felt very rushed. We had appetizers, mains, and dessert in an hour. I understand if we were there over two hours but it wasn’t even close.
Food as usual was great but I think a lack of wait staff made the service mediocre. Otherwise we always enjoy the restaurant.
Fantastic experience as a whole. Lobster Bisque and Fresh Burrata to warm the soul. Great wine selection. The pasta middle class had two pastas black truffle pasta specially made for the evening and an oxtail pasta ineffective fresh in the house. Open kitchen was cool. Hanger Steak with potatoes and mushrooms for the Grand Finale. Portions are perfect. Compliments jelly beans with the check. Great place, see how to treat yourself. Bravo Osteria Leana sees you soon.
My husband ordered the bass, and the size of the fish on his plate was really sparse. We actually could not believe it. I also asked to have the pork chop moist, and the waitress told me it would be succulent. I should have asked her to bring it back because it was dry. I did not because it would take too much time and then my husband would be eating alone. On the reservation it was asked if there was a special occasion an we wrote the it was our anniversary. It would have been a nice touch if someone said Happy Anniversary. I understand that restaurants are stressed out, so that was not a big deal. The price for what we got was way overboard. With the tip, and no desert we paid 160.00 The waitress was very nice and tried to be as accomodating as possible. The ambience was nice. It did seem like they were meeting all safety goals. I wish them the best.
We have never had anything less than an exceptional dinning experience here and we look forward to returning again very soon! Thanks for providing great food and great service always!
