There was already a line forming outside when a security guard emerged and began to bark orders at everyone, insisting we move behind a bush. He continued to shout as we complied, and many around us expressed their frustration about his rudeness and aggression. The line quickly became disorganized, with people who were once at the front now at the back. We found ourselves waiting outside in the heat for an extended period, sweating and getting sunburned, long past the time the doors were supposed to open. Once we finally got inside, having already spent $40 each on tickets and another $40 each due to the two-item minimum, we were shocked to be refused a glass of water. They insisted we had to purchase drinks instead. Really? After spending $80 each and enduring such a long wait in the sun, they wouldn’t even offer us a single glass of water? I was so put off that I decided to wait until after the show to eat, as I didn’t want to give them any more of my money. This place has seriously declined. I’d much prefer to visit other comedy clubs in the area for the same shows.

Conveniently located off the 101 freeway in the center of a vibrant shopping village, this venue is part of a lovely restaurant that features live music. You can arrive early to enjoy dinner from the menu before the show or stick around afterward for drinks and more live performances. The venue is well-maintained, and the service was exceptional. Felipe Esparza was absolutely hilarious, and we thoroughly enjoyed his openers as well. It was an amazing show overall. The only downside was that the audio was a bit muffled at times, which made it challenging to catch everything Felipe was saying.

You can often find discount tickets for most shows on their social media pages, but even regular-priced tickets are very affordable and definitely worth it. Just be prepared to purchase two drinks or food items per person, which is standard at most comedy clubs. My only complaint is about the waitstaff—they can be loud and disruptive during the show. It’s noticeable enough that comedians have even commented on it during performances. The staff could benefit from being more professional in this regard. Update: I revised my review after management responded. They acknowledged my concern and assured me they would address it. That’s how a complaint should be handled—other businesses should take note. Thank you, Levity Live! Your dedication to customer experience and professionalism is appreciated. This place is highly recommended for date nights, girls’ nights, boys’ nights, work parties, and more. You can’t go wrong with great drinks and an amazing comedy show!

The comedians were fantastic, but the quality of the venue was disappointing. When I was seated at the leftmost long table, the bass was turned up way too high. I paid for tickets and met the two-item minimum per person, only to catch about 40% of what the performers were saying. Every time the audience laughed, I found myself wondering what was so funny. Overall, I felt like I wasted my money.

While the venue seemed like it might get crowded, we were seated near some open tables that gave us plenty of space since it was a Thursday night show. The food and drinks were enjoyable, and I had a fantastic time overall!
