El Super Taco - Oxnard

This spot used to be THE SPOT when I was younger and their tortas were the best. This time that I went it wasn’t as what I remembered. The torta was huge but that was about it.

Loved it! Came hungry, got the California burrito, left happy! Burrito weighed a couple pounds (felt like). Highly recommended.

Wow (3 letter review! Been to Oxnard a bazillion Times and the last 3 times drove by this place saying: I gotta check this place out . This time I did tried 4 chicken street type tacos, you know soft corn shell (small with cut up onions and cilantro was going to get three but hay they 're small, right? Got a side of Spanish rice with it the guy asks hot or mild salsa HOT, you bet! These small shells were stuffed with tender, almost all white meat chicken, shredded absolutely delicious salsa could 've been a little hotter but a solid four star first time experience! Will be back for a breakfast burrito next time....... the rice was good, hot and flavorful with that little extra cup of salsa I was given $10.75 for a great lunch!!! CABO and El Dorado are my favorites here in town when I want to wash my meal down with some margaritas this place is perfect for lunch during the work days!

One of the best parts about moving a lot is trying out local food spots. I mean, the taco spots in some other states don't even compare to the taco goodness that comes with beautiful SoCal. Enter Super Taco. The carnitas platter is delicious. Honestly, every item we've ordered exceeded our expectations. What's been the most fun is telling our neighbors residents of Oxnard for 20 something years about Super Taco. They became new customers. Oh, be prepared to pay with cash only. If you get there and realize all you have is a card, there's a BOA atm nearby. Im speaking from experience but it is totally worth it!

This is one of the underestimated Taco shops in the 805. this place is a bar that is only now on the window. but there was a lobby and a restroom at one point, but now it's all under renovation. super taco offers all kinds of Mexican “antojitos” like quesadillas, tortas, burritos, sopes etc. Every day, the food is freshly prepared and prepared for ordering. this place never forgets to bring the authentic aromen and textures of genuine Mexican foods while they make their eating quick and fresh. it sits on the corner of the 5th street and meta st so that the neighbourhood is not the largest, but in real taco shop fashion, if the neighboring was not a little sketch, it would not be authentic! lol. enjoys!
