Del's Pizza - Oxnard

I love finding those small gems of a restaurant and Del's is definitely one of those. My first time there: it was easy to order online and I had the meat pizza. I walked there from the office. The crust absolutely amazed me. I love a thick crust and theirs was exactly to my liking: thick but soft. I enjoyed the toppings but felt the sauce could have had a bit more oompf to it.

We ordered a chorizo pizza. They weren't to generous on the chorizo but a large 1 topping pizza is only $6.99. You get what you paid for Flavor was good. Service was good and fast. My husband will be reordering soon

This pizzeria in the old town area is definitely one of the best around. They use fresh ingredients, offer a great variety of pizzas, and have a nice atmosphere. They have special deals on Mondays and Tuesdays (buy one, get the second pizza for $6) and a good happy hour until 6:30 or 7pm. It's a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions or just hang out with friends. I especially love their unique storage room, which used to be a luggage storage area for S-Bahn trains in the past. The restaurant is also located in a historic building, adding to its charm.

I didn't dine in at the restaurant, but instead had my order delivered to my house. Domino's took 20 minutes to pick up my order, while Pizza Hut was going to take 2 hours to deliver. So, I decided to try Del's Pizza and I was not disappointed. I ordered 10 piece wings and a large pizza. The wings were incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy flavor was delicious. I highly recommend them. The pizza was good, nothing special to mention. The service was fast and friendly, without making me wait for 2 hours like Pizza Hut. On February 17th, 2020, I received a free order of wings from Mr. Del after my review, and they were delicious! The wings were crispy and the sauce was excellent. The photos clearly show which ones were good and which ones weren't. As always, the pizza was great too. On another visit, I ordered wings, breadsticks, a large pizza, and a 2-liter drink for $20.99. While the pizza was delicious, the wings were disappointing - they were chewy and not enjoyable. The breadsticks were average. I will only return for the pizza. Lastly, I tried the El Gigante pizza for $15.99, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The first delivery is free, and there are other good specials available. Overall, the pizza was big enough and tasty, so I will definitely go back.
