Great sushi, the Tuna Lava Roll is amazinggg. Minus 2 stars though because lotssss of styrofoam packaging and single use plastic waste (bags, straws, cutlery, sauce).
The food here was really good, I haven't been to many places out here, but one of my favorite places for sushi. The Udon they had was also really delicious with a lot of umami. I tried their white jasmine flower tea and it was very hot and relaxing.Overall a really really good experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for Japanese food, sushi, or udon.I'll have to try the rest of their menu another time. Depending on where you sit (if you're towards the back of the restaurant)you have a really lovely view of the harbor.
Absolutely incredible. The sushi is phenomenal, for both sashimi and rolls. Plenty of baked/fried rolls that aren't raw for pickier eaters. And the best part is they offer REAL wasabi!! If you've never tried it it's worth it just for that, but expect await, locals love it here and come out in droves.
Just moved here and already found my go-to spot for Sushi! If you're going to try this place for the first time, make sure you dine-in for your first experience. The ambience is really pleasant and the staff is just the right amount of professional mixedwith fun. You won't regret it.
Anaba does not care if you enjoy your experience or not. They just kept bringing more saki to the loudest drunk people I have ever sat near in a restaurant. The host told me this woman had caused the exact same problems as recently as last week but they let her in and get her drunk again anyway. So they KNOW about the problem and choose not to care! After 20 years of going to this restaurant it has showed steady decline and I guess this will be my last time there. If you’re going to spent $200-$300 for a nice meal go somewhere that cares. Kid-friendliness: My children had to leave. No one who works there seemed to care about the table that was super drunk yelling expletives in every direction. They just kept bringing them more alcahol.
