Or perhaps the bartender was gone? Each ?specialty? mixed drink our group ordered from the menu tasted like a Long Island or a weird mai tai- just booze and various juices. Really gross. Food was greasy but tasty. Service wasbizarre- the hostesses seemed out of it (spaced/ditzy? bathrooms were gross. Servers were all chatting around in a gossip festand it took a while to get OK service. The busboys seemed to be the only ones working. I hope they get paid well?and at leastthere was AC. It?s a little overboard with the upside down letters everywhere but maybe the locals are into it. They seem to notlike tourists in general in this town. Yikes! Try another port?

The selection of small plate style dishes were delicious the tuna with Avocado slices, the crab balls, the chicken and vegetable pasta, thebacon wrapped scallops, crab stuffed mushrooms and the fried green tomatoes on top of the bison sliders were exceptionally good????

The fisherman's stew featured four oysters in a bland cream sauce, while the baked oysters were decent. The mussels were okay, but the broth was underwhelming. The crab cake was passable, but the most disappointing aspect was the fries, which were cold and clearly from a frozen product. After the lackluster starters, we opted for simpler choices from the menu, ordering burgers and fried fish. These were satisfactory but not exceptional. The wine selection, aside from the house options, was overpriced. Sadly, I wouldn't consider returning to Capsize Oxmd.

Our party waited 1.5 hours for our meals, and several items were unavailable. With six of us dining, only three received their meals, and those were missing sides. The waitstaff, bartenders, and busboys were wonderful, but it seems the owners neglect their team. This restaurant has great potential due to its location and ambiance. Save your money for a place that truly values its customers and employees.

A great server who has solid answers to all of our questions. Took charge and made us feel accommodated. Both deserve raises. Food was fine. Drinks were incredible (painkiller and Paloma).
