We were there for the Irish music. My rockfish tacos were fabulous! Literally the best I have ever eaten. Presentation of all the entrees was beautiful. My date had the mussels that were steamed to perfection with a delicious and memorable flavor. I will order them myself next time! Patrick was a wonderful server and the mixed drinks were spot on. What User doesn't like about Robert Morris Inn:
The food was under-seasoned. The dining room lighting was excessively bright, lacking any festive touches for New Year's Eve. The waiting staff hurried around instead of offering attentive, relaxed service. View all feedback.
This place is simply extraordinary! the food was well prepared, the service was very hospitable, and the setting was delightful!
A nice, quiet Friday evening dinner. The food and the service were first rate. Our favorite restaurant in Oxford.

I showed up for my reservation 5 minutes before it’s time and then waited with three other couples who arrived after me another 10 minutes. When she arrived she led me outside the restaurant to a meeting room area where she had been quickly setting up Oort table that she had given away. This has happened to me before at the restaurant so I told her this was unacceptable and left. I received an email from Open Table telling me that the restaurant informed OpenTable that I was a no show. You figure out who is lying here.
The fresh fruit plate was beautifully arranged and appetizing. The swordfish was outstanding as well as the fish and chips. The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Overall an outstanding culinary experience! The servers were attentive and personable as well as professional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and relaxing. The real roaring fireplaces and beautifully preserved 18th century building added to a unique and romantic dining experience.
