The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restaurant is quite far from my house (or at least it felt that way). During my first visit with a friend, we ordered the ruck huh and two orders of escoveitch fish. The ruck huh was good, but the fish was the best I've had outside of Jamaica. My husband called an hour in advance to pick up our food, only to arrive and find it wasn't ready. After waiting 20 minutes, we received mediocre food. This dining experience was highly disappointing with only about 5 pieces of meat and the rest being bones and carrots. We will be exploring other Caribbean restaurants in the future. I stopped by this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Tanya, the server, was very friendly and took my order. I tried the jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantains, and the baked macaroni. I had never had baked macaroni made with shells before, but it definitely works! The pricing was fair and I felt it was well worth it. I will definitely be returning soon to try more items on the menu. Great job, ladies!
I recently ordered a bowl of soup with high expectations, but unfortunately, I was left quite disappointed. The soup was extremely salty to the point where it was almost impossible to eat. Additionally, it lacked substance as it only contained a few vegetables and hardly any solid food. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I was left feeling dissatisfied with my meal choice.
I ordered Curried goat and instead received a dish of white chicken, white rice, and hard plantain. I am unsure what type of chicken it is, as it is not Curried and definitely not what I had requested. When I tried to call the restaurant to address the issue, my calls were rejected and sent to voicemail. This level of customer service is unacceptable and has led me to no longer be a loyal patron of this establishment.
Do not waste your money ordering from this restaurant! The fact that someone would serve me food that was completely inedible and disgusting is insane.
Food is great,atmosphere is relaxing,great service I think they'll be a full restaurant n catering service there that good!!
