Chido's - Owings Mills

Wow! We were really impressed! There’s a fantastic new Mexican restaurant in Owings Mills. The food was delightful, the service was attentive, and the decor was both cozy and unique. Our family truly appreciated the snug atmosphere of the booth alcoves and the charming lighted basket cloud overhead. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the portions were very generous. This place is definitely worth a visit!

We visited the Laurel location with family, and then decided to take some friends to the Owings Mills restaurant for their anniversary. We had a wonderful experience. I'm someone who tends to stick with what I know, so I ordered the shrimp and steak sizzling fajitas again, and they were just as delicious as at the Laurel location. I also had the strawberry and mango margarita, which was quite refreshing. I'm not sure how many people are aware of this place yet, as we went on a Sunday around 4:30 PM and it was quite empty. The upside was that we didn’t have to wait for a table. I really hope it starts getting more attention soon because it’s definitely worth a visit, and I would hate to see such a great spot close down.

The food offers great value for the price. I would rate the quality an 8 out of 10 and the quantity a 9 out of 10. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, their prices are quite reasonable and the portions are generous. They also provide nice options for birthday celebrations, and I noticed they advertise brunch, which I’m eager to try. However, the chips and salsa were just average—nothing to write home about. I’m giving a score of 4 out of 5 mainly due to the guacamole; it didn’t seem fresh or flavorful. I suspect that had I ordered a dip, it would have been fresh and tasty, but the sides that accompanied the burrito and quesadillas weren't very impressive.

I visited this location for the first time, even though my best friend has brought me lunch from here before. The food was fantastic and the margarita was excellent! I definitely plan to come back, especially during happy hour.

The food was absolutely amazing! I visited for happy hour with some friends, and I must say, the quesadilla I had was truly wonderful. I'm not typically a fan of margaritas, but the strawberry mango one I tried was delicious and possibly the prettiest drink I've ever seen. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely authentic!
