usually don't do Chinese buffets when we travel but decided to give this one a try. Since it was right at lunch time thinking the food was going to be fresh and hot. It was really good it had a little different flavor then we used to. Very impressed good price will definitely eat here again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New China Buffet:
My husband loves it but I'm not a fan. The vegetables, Sushi, and deserts are good, but the chicken dishes tough and the beef dishes are bland. They do have a good variety of items. The bathroom is quite dirty but the food areas are clean. The staff is not invasive but attentive, and it's not overly expensive. View all feedback.

This is a pretty good buffet if you go during peak hours when everything is hot and fresh. Tons of options . Sometimes the food isn’t as hot as I would like, but that is my only complaint. Don’t forget to try the banana pudding either!! So good.
The food was good, but the waitress we had was not picking up plates that we were finished with, not giving refills until we asked for it and most of all was unhappy with our $5 tip. We did have 6 people but she didn't do her job without us asking or saying something and it was not even packed this happened literally a few minutes ago before posting this.....she is lucky we left a tip at all. I have been loyal to this place for a long time. Also we were there long enough for two plates each and she was rushing us to pay the bill. If you don't do your job as a waitress I won't tip you normally. Unless you have a lot to deal with like a packed house.... next day forget New China come to Cracker Barrel haven't gotten our food yet but I feel like I'm at my relatives home enjoying the company (waitresses/waiters)
Very disappointing experience. My wife and I were in town on a Sunday around lunchtime and decided a Chinese Buffet sounded good. We arrived around 1pm and it was moderately busy. We were seated quickly, the server walking away from us as she asked our drink orders. The buffet appears to have many choices, but in reality, there are very few entrees. I tried the pepper steak, black pepper chicken, Cajun chicken, and the fried rice. All the chicken dishes tasted very old. The chicken was hard and dry, not even lukewarm, and just overall very poor quality. The beef used in the pepper steak was oddly tender and had a strange feel to it. For two buffets, a water, and a soda, the bill was $33.00 plus tip. Not only was this one of the worst meals I've eaten at a restaurant, they charged premium money for it was well. Will not be back.
The food was decently good but the service was horrible. The woman who served us handed me my bill and stood there and stared while me and my friend were talking and rushed us to sign the bill and was extremely rude. She came back multiple occasions to stare at us and rush us out. This was within 5 minutes. I wont be coming back even though the food was good the service was horrible. Not to mention the 18 dollars a person for the buffet.
