Long John Silver's - Owensboro

The service at this restaurant is friendly and efficient. The grilled shrimp lacked char but had good seasoning. The hush puppies were very light but greasy. The fried shrimp and fish were tasty as expected. The coleslaw was also good. As a bonus, I requested double coleslaw and was pleasantly surprised to find out I received quadruple the amount. I only realized this once I got home.

Jake took our order with a smile and was very friendly and attentive. My daughter and I were seated and Jake returned promptly with our food. He even went the extra mile to clear our table of all trash. Jake truly exceeded our expectations.

I was disappointed with my drive-thru experience at this restaurant. I ordered a 2 piece fish combo with cole slaw and green beans, specifically mentioning that I did not want fries. However, when I checked my order after leaving, I realized that I did not receive the cole slaw I requested and also only received one hush puppy instead of two. I was also given fries which I did not want. Overall, I was not satisfied with my order and felt that it was not fulfilled accurately.

The most horrible experience , and the food was the worst.

This is the second time at this location. The first time was totally a 5 plus. ,but this time the food wasn't as hot the fish wasn't fully battered on several pieces. I asked for ketchup because both containers were empty.And the heavy set women behind the counter just rolled her eyes and said I'll go get you some ketchup in a very condescending way.If I see her there again I will leave..I am pretty sure she was a manager of an assistant.
