Pizza By The Guy - Owensboro

I've visited this restaurant, and the food made by the owner was fantastic. However, my experience with delivery was disappointing. I was on the other side of town and assumed they didn't deliver, so I ordered through DoorDash. To my surprise, DoorDash mentioned that the restaurant manages its own delivery. Unfortunately, the food arrived 40 minutes late and was cold and undercooked. When I called to express my concerns, the owner didn't seem to care. I'm in town for a while and won't be ordering from here again, which is unfortunate because I prefer to support local businesses. But I can't recommend this one.

Pizza and breadsticks were amazing! You could see and taste the quality ingredients. The owner was the one making our pizza. Loved this place.

I had my first meal at this restaurant, and I must say… it was fantastic! The pizza toppings were abundant and tasted amazing! The cheese bread was as delicious as the pizza!

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was just passing through town and thought I’d give it a try. I ordered the Calzone and Breadsticks, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions—there was so much food, it was almost overwhelming! The Calzone was fantastic and has definitely made its way into my Top 5 favorites. The order came with eight large and delicious Breadsticks, and I couldn't finish them all. My only minor issue was the small dining area, which had only four tables, making it feel a bit cramped. Still, I highly recommend this place, especially if you're a fan of Calzones!
