J Ds - Owensboro

I used to visit this restaurant for meals with my mother and aunt, and I truly loved both the breakfast and lunch options. Their twist on comforting, homemade dishes is fantastic, with everything served piping hot and fresh. It's incredibly delicious and brings back wonderful memories for me.

This restaurant is cash-only and has a strong following as a local favorite. It tends to get busy and crowded, attracting many regular customers who stop by every day. There's a large communal table at the back where complete strangers often come together and start conversations, adding to the friendly atmosphere. The vibe is very casual, and while it may feel a bit worn in, that adds to its unique charm and appeal.

This charming little diner serves the best old-fashioned roast beef you'll find anywhere. It's usually packed around lunchtime, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. It's one of my favorite spots to eat in Owensboro. A full platter meal costs just around $6, and I dare you to find a better deal for such delicious food.

Always a great experience when dining at JDs! It has a small town diner atmosphere. The waitresses are great and provide terrific service! The food is always exactly what I ordered and delicious!
