An amazing meal in a comfortable place. We ordered a few things, including the chicken-shawarma and two types of fish and chips. The parts were more than sufficient for one person to two persons. We had the Cod and Halibut and both were very good tasting. Since this place offers a full-neck menu that is useful for those who require this on religious beliefs, I would recommend it to anyone who is in Owen Sound and wan... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mr. Khan's Gyro Fish Corner:
We stopped at this place on our way to Tobormory. The restaurant has a sign saying halal but I did not see any certification so cannot confirm. I should have asked for it. Anyways, I tried their samosas, they were average. Also tried their cod fish and it was oily but crispy, again average. We tried both of their chicken on rice and beef on rice. Beef was pretty good but chicken was average. The salads were not fresh... View all feedback.
This place was ok. Gyro was small and not much meat. Was reasonably priced but not what I’m used to. Place is nice inside and staff is friendly.
Very friendly staff, got the chicken gyro and the samosa, tasted alright but was a bit messy with little sauce before getting the gyro out of the wrap. The samosas were pretty good!
Was ok for a truck. But the chicken gyro shawarma was neither. It seemed to be pre-cooked chicken that was reheated quickly on the grill. Not much flavor and small portion. And the chai Wan just a boring regular tea with no spice.
Ordered chicken on rice, cod w/chips, halibut w/chips and shrimp with tzatziki sauce. Apart from the chicken on rice, the food was not good. The fish was mushy and bland. The shrimp were tough and bland. Not a great experience.
