Asian Buffet - Owen Sound

When they first opened this was a great place for a chinese buffet. But like many of this sort of restaurant the food quality declines over time and the menu selection never changes. It never leaves a good impression when their sign is missing a few letters and nobody ever bothers to fix it, even months later. If you are not too fussy on your chinese food buffet then it's quite doable, but most people tire of this place quickly.

This is about 4th owner in the past 3 years. Unfortunitly after the original owener things got prograssive worse with each one

My FIL eats here weekly so the staff know him well, we were up on vacation and love to come here. Crab Legs is a must! So good, love the extra butter they have on the side to dip it in. Honey Garlic Ribs, egg rolls, rice, and all the vegetable dishes come out steamy hot and very tasty at the buffet. Service is excellent place is clean. Something for everyone on the buffet table, soups, desserts, fruit and 2 full tables of dinner foods. Enjoy eating here!

We have gone twice. First time Sunday at 530. Food was hot and fresh, crab legs were good. Dessert are lacking. Hot Vegetable selection is nonexistent. Won Ton soup was awful. 2nd time Mon 7pm. Buffet closes at 9. Lets say later is not a good time to go. Server was annoying, every 15 min she was asking how is everything. Food was stale, 3 pieces of sushi, and won ton soup was worse. When we asked about fresh wonton soup they just came out and threw wontons into some old broth but who knows how long it sat there. I will go back but only during busy times

Travelling through looking for a place to eat, we remembered that we'd eaten at a Chinese restaurant in Owen Sound a few years ago and looked it up. It's kind of in a run down area but don't let that fool you. The food was excellent. The staff/owners were friendly. It was one of the best meal experiences we had on our trip and we had some good ones. I would come again if I'm in the Owen Sound area. I highly recommend this place.
