I would recommend their sweet cider mule for a fall drink. I honestly can't recommend a single food item, but because it's all so delicious. Service was top notch, even on a Friday night. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, making the evening delightful. My friends and I ordered quite a bit, and everything we tried was exceptional, including the drinks. Devin was an excellent waiter. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it tends to get very busy and there are limited seats.

We only expected... read more I've never been to MJ's bar and restaurant before this visit, but it wasn't disappointed! We came to a very busy restaurant on Sunday at 1:00. We only expected a lunch menu to find out that lunch does not begin until 2:30 and they served brunch at the moment. We were a little disappointed, but ordered some Brunchburgers and cocktails anyway. Our disappointment ended abruptly there. This restaurant has a really nice, almost tropical feeling for it. A decent and well decorated building with a possibility to sit on the deck overlooking the river. While I cannot speak for lunch/dinner menus, the Brunch menu was very appropriate with most menu items in the high single-digit or very low double-digit. Our wait from the time we ordered until we got our food in a very busy restaurant was about 10 minutes. The Brunchburgers were faultless in a word. A burger should be eaten with a knife and fork with a perfect blend of roasted bread, runny egg, hamburger, sausage sword. The absolute quintessential brunch shell and the hands down I've ever had. Seriously can't say good enough about the Brunchburger. If you were here and never had it, understood. This only court alone is enough to convince me to visit MJs again soon. At the time of this review, MJ's was rated 4.7 stars and if their entire menu was as big as our brunch, it's easy to see why.

The signature cocktails are super cute! Ordered two small places and two big plates. The small plates were the stuffed spicy mushroom, and Authentic Mexican Sopes. Both tasted great. The Sopes were not spicy but they were really good ordered it with steak as the meat. For the big plates we ordered the the flip flop burger and the MJs burger. Both were amazing and the MJ fries with the sauce were also very good. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. But I'd also suggest making a reservation if you plan on sitting at a table and not taking your chances at the bar. You also have to call for reservations.

On the river so... read more All the other reviews times 10…lol. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. The menu is in a class of its own and you won’t be disappointed. On the river so the views are awesome. And the best thing for me is the decor. A sawyer and crafter myself (Norwood HD36v2), this is a place for me. Too bad it’s 4 hours away from home. Will be back in town for business and will make MJ’s a place to sit and wind down.
