However, I wish we had been informed at the time of our reservation that the outdoor seating was reserved for a private event, as we were really looking forward to dining outside.

Went in at 6pm on a Saturday (their hours are until 9pm) after strawberry festival with the door wide open. Walked in and after a moment was told they’re closed... read more Went in at 6pm on a Saturday (their hours are until 9pm) after strawberry festival with the door wide open. Walked in and after a moment was told they’re closed, so our friend joked “oh, should I close the door?” And we left. After a minute of waiting on the sidewalk to cross the street outside, a stocky ginger man comes outside “hey buddy, you know we’re cleaning so the door is open.” Unnecessary. Came outside two minutes later just to tell us this, and that doesn’t even make sense.? Door is open so obviously that means closed and cleaning. Embarrassing on his behalf as we’re with locals who go to this bar frequently. Had a tone of looking for a fight; completely unprofessional
