The welcome and the atmosphere on site are charming, there is a serene and pleasant atmosphere for a meal. The refined and authentic decor, the peaceful atmosphere of the room, the cleanliness of the premises, the flavor and freshness of the dishes and the perfectly balanced professionalism of the waitress on site make it one of the best Thai addresses on the outskirts of Brussels. Without forgetting the price which is more than reasonable considering the services of the restaurant. In summary: One of the best addresses for price and quality of services. The waiter received us in a very un... read more Our experience at Yotaya was very disappointing. Normally we go to another Thai restaurant but we wanted to try a new place. The waiter received us in a very unfriendly way. Then every time we tried to order something, he looked very annoyed by the fact that we were trying to order in Dutch or English. We had no problem trying to speak French (we know enough to get by but he was not accommodating and not friendly at all. We ordered in Dutch because we didn’t know he only spoke French. That was fine but he didn’t have to be so rude. Then when we ordered an appetizer, which we were going to share, he made a remark because we were only getting one and not two. The food was okey, nothing outstanding but good enough. If it wasn’t for the service I think we would have given 3 stars. Also we didn’t like the fact that they give Sriracha when we requested something spicy. Normally in a Thai place they give chilly flakes. The problem with Sriracha is that it overpowers the flavours. The food made up a bit for the service but I don't think we will be back. *The owner replied, that’s something we appreciate. We will give it a second chance :
