The waiter came to us not even 5 mins after being seated for our choices. We were not ready yet, came back several times after, really annoying. food was ok. Felt like we needed to leave after paying our check as when we asked what time resto closed at, waiter said "anytime now as we all need to go home, it was 10pm:! will never go back with tis attitude. The eggplant shrimps in a curry sauce were tasty fresh and just spiced perfectly. The decor is charming and bathroom clean.

Good local neighborhood Thai located on a quiet street in Outremont. Great terrace in summer and very friendly service.
Galago Bistro Thai is one of those hidden gems that you won't find unless you know someone living in a city. Luckily, friends took me to this quaint restaurant in Outremont. The restaurant has a small patio in a quiet neighbourhood, which was great on a hot night. The food was fabulous: I began with the spring rolls with crab meat and mango, and then had Chicken in green curry with coconut milk and basil leaves. The food is quite spicy but you can ask them to reduce the heat. They offer Thai beer, which I had not had before and it was delicious. Portions could be very slightly larger but it is good value for the money. Highly recommended and worth the trip.
We found it by chance. Tried it. Went back at least 4 or 5 times (we live in Montreal.) The street is cute, quiet. One of the few restaurant in Montréal where you don"t have loud music in your hear (well I didn't check inside.) so just for that, rush there. Food is spicy, but not too much. Good quality, good price. Service always nice. I agree with the other client who says: I wonder why this place is not packed every night. Let's hope we can still enjoy it without it to be packed all the time.
