Always kept an eye on us and always did a bit of... read more Today we tried Saray 2 in Ottweiler for the first time. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. Always kept an eye on us and always did a bit of nonsense with the children, great! But not too intrusive We were served quickly and the drinks arrived quickly, as well as a side salad. Unfortunately the plates weren't completely clean but the salad was delicious. We ate the rump steak, one normal and one crema. I personally didn't like the sauce from the crema, but that was okay. The spaghetti with it was good. The meat was medium rare as I wanted. The fried potatoes were ok, standard. Unfortunately my wife was unlucky with her piece of meat but I don't think the chefs can do anything about it, it was unfortunately very fatty and full of tendons. The meat at the next table was also good upon request. So just bad luck. She sent it back and was immediately offered a new one. However, my wife then shared the lasagne with our daughter. It was very good. There was no charge for the food that was returned, but she had hardly eaten anything. All in all it was still nice there and maybe we'll come back. I heard the pizzas are great. Parking: Typical Ottweiler problems in the old town. Kid-friendliness: No special children's menu but a small portion is offered. The service staff are very nice to the kids.
