This is a wonderful spot for quick, affordable, and delicious Mexican cuisine. Every time I've been here, the quality has been excellent. I’m puzzled by the negative reviews; I’ve never had that experience. The food and service have consistently been great, including from the young staff members who assist. I'm also a fan of the expanded dining area. I will certainly return!

Absolutely terrible customer service! Every negative review I've seen is spot on. The reason people don't voice their complaints on-site is that the service is so poor. I really dislike receiving dirty looks and dealing with such a bad attitude. I noticed another review where someone mentioned a subpar torta, and the owner's response was something like, "Well, you ate the whole thing." Unbelievable! Yet another review highlights the awful customer service, and I can confirm it's accurate. To make matters worse, the food tastes stale. I've had plenty of meals at other places, and this one does not measure up at all.

I really wanted to rate this place higher because their horchata was excellent. However, the elote didn't impress me; it tasted and looked like canned corn. I haven't had much elote in the past, but I find it's usually better on the cob with different seasonings (my wife ordered both styles). My dish had an overwhelming amount of cilantro, which wasn't what I expected. Though to be fair, it did come with what seemed like over a pound of chicken! I couldn't really taste the chicken, although it looked appealing. One disappointing experience won't stop me from returning to improve my review, but I'm still uncertain about what to expect. I did my best to finish my meal and I know the staff would have addressed any issues with my food, so don’t let my three-star rating discourage you. Just be specific with your orders, and from what I've read in other reviews, the food should be enjoyable. Also, remember to bring cash for tips; I left mine on my card and wished I had cash to tip the young woman who was helping out.
