A 35 year old classic ottawa restaurant, Pilos. Great pork souvlaki, roasted potatoes, and thick garlic tzatziki. Oh and don’t forget their memorable garlic bread. I’ve been visiting here since I was little. Haven’t been since pre Covid. Food hasn’t changed which is a great thing. Also enjoy the nice Touch ID ouzo candies at the end. Yasou! View all feedback.

After having ok take out on a previous occasion, we decided to visit the restaurant for a sit-down meal. The atmosphere is ok given its location, but the overall experience wasn’t great. The server was a little terse, but maybe she was just having a bad night. The food itself was again just ok. My girlfriend had the chicken and shrimp and it was good. Here's a place to go where you know what you order will always be good. Their prices have gone up, but the portions are fairly big and the quality always the same. The service has always been good.
The food was very flavourful. Staff was attentive. This was my first visit at the recommendation of a friend. Will definitely be going back.
We have been taking out from Pilos since we moved to Ottawa over 20 years ago...at least twice a month. The chicken souvlaki plate with extra (lemon) rice (no potato) and pita instead of garlic bread is good for 2 meals...and they now have a new container that keeps the salad separate.Get extra tzatziki in a cup...best ever
