We went to Ottawa for a few days and went there for dinner. servings are generous, food is very good and service is kind and effective. our kind waitress was ta... read more We went to Ottawa for a few days and went there for dinner. servings are generous, food is very good and service is kind and effective. our kind waitress was talking a great French, we even asked her when she came in the 2nd night. in the menu there are dishes for the 55 (slightly reduced and more economical for small appetites. but that's not what we chose. there are also duos and trios menus, really interesting and versatile. desserts are cooked on site and are very good; A little expensive, but they're worth it. quiet family atmosphere, classic decoration,

We also had coffee and the total pric... read more I've never had a bad breakfast at Perkins. On our most recent visit I had the "Magnificent Seven" while my wife the Smash. We also had coffee and the total price for our meals came to $28.77. I should say that the manager on staff was fantastic and never took her eyes off her staff or the customers. I believe her name was Treena. Our server, Tiffany, was also very good.

Although it's hard to miss Perkins' brand giant Canadian flag on the front of their buildings, this day it wasn't as easy to see as it flew... Half-mass to remember the recent transfer of HM Queen Elizabeth II. It was in the evening, I had not eaten since morning and I know Perkins was usually a good place to dine. Like other shops, this was not disappointed. I like all day CANADIAN breakfast and ordered an Omelette. It was very well cooked and contained two sides. The service was also very good. Like the rest of the chain, prices were higher than competitive family restaurants. My disappointment with pricing is that I had just spent $14 for breakfast (before tax tip and they would not give a discounted price on a third page. I also wanted a muffin and they blamed me for the full price that was almost twice as high as the price you would pay for an independent bakery. I asked and they said it was a corporate policy. Too bad. It's just greedy for me. Shame on Perkins. Perkins is a great place for a CANADIAN breakfast. (I don't know what American breakfast is. This place is nowhere near the states. I'll be back.
