Absolutely delightful plant-based Indian cuisine! This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, providing a tranquil escape in the heart of Ottawa. The dishes are hearty and packed with flavor, served in generous portions at affordable prices, and they clearly mark the vegan options. I enjoyed every moment of my experience!

Dining amidst a lush canopy of greenery, The Peace Garden serves some of the most delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes in Ottawa. I can assure you that you'll be praising a certain deity while savoring the incredibly tasty Glory Bowl. This was my first visit, and I paired it with the best slice of vegan gluten-free chocolate cake I’ve ever had. I will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to you. Enjoy!

What a wonderful place! The food here is fantastic and caters to a variety of dietary requirements. I highly recommend the soups, the chocolate mousse cake, and the hot carob honey drink, as well as the cold ginger blast drink. They offer fresh juices and smoothies made to order, daily specials, and a wide selection of vegan and gluten-free treats. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly! They also have a vast collection of spiritual literature for you to browse while you enjoy your meal, allowing you to nourish both your body and your soul. I always leave the Peace Garden feeling great!

My daughter is vegan, so we chose to visit this restaurant, one of her favorites. We went during the peak of the global pandemic and couldn’t dine inside because one of us wasn’t vaccinated, so we ordered takeout and sat in a small tent outside. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was fantastic. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience—definitely a five-star rating!

Regarding vegetarian options, most of the main dishes are entirely vegan. Although cheese can be added if desired, they do not provide any vegan cheese alternatives.
